Trooper Shawncey Day has worked for the Wyoming Highway Patrol since August of 2021.  He is a Trooper II assigned to Troop B (Casper).  Trooper Day's additional duties include being a Field Training Officer, WHP Academy Instructor, Child Safety Seat technician, CVSA inspector, Special Services Squad member, and Public Information Officer.  Before becoming a Wyoming State Trooper, Trooper Day worked as a certified peace officer in Iowa from 2017 until August of 2021.  During his free time, Trooper Day enjoys exploring Wyoming's wilderness and hitting the slopes at Hogadon.
