The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is an agency committed to providing a safe, high-quality, and efficient transportation system for the State of Wyoming. As an agency, the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) and WYDOT are leaders and partners in public safety, ensuring a safer Wyoming. The WHP within WYDOT is currently seeking Port of Entry Officers in several locations around the state. WHP Ports of Entry enhance highway safety and help preserve the highway infrastructure while providing various services essential to commercial vehicle operations throughout the State of Wyoming.

Port of Entry Officers has multiple advancement opportunities during their career to include Officer, Special Officer, CVSA Inspector, Lead Officer, Port Supervisor, Port Region Manager and other advancement opportunities such as Mobile Education and Enforcement Teams, Quality Control, Compliance Review, Office of Overweight Loads, Port of Entry Training Coordinator, Agriculture Safety Program Coordinator and Towing and Recovery Program Coordinator.
