WHP Troop Locations

Wyoming State Troopers serve regional duty stations, known as "Troops", while maintaining full statewide law enforcement jurisdiction. Troopers frequently deploy across Wyoming for investigations, training, and special enforcement operations. The Wyoming Highway Patrol is headquartered in Cheyenne, WY where our Executive Command, Equipment & Technology, Training & Education, and central dispatch center are all housed. 

We currently have state trooper openings across the state.  

Free state housing may be available in the following locations, depending on availability:

• Arlington 

• Elk Mountain

• Farson

• Granger

• Patrick Draw

• Rock River

• Wamsutter

Troopers assigned to and residing full time in Teton County, WY are eligible to receive an additional monthly housing allowance.
